Alopecia is a bit like having cancer to me. We have a bunch of cures, none of them seems ideal, involve possible side effects and efficacy is not guarrantied.  So there is somekind of faith going on, and it's not bad because faith is pushing you forward to try everthing that may help you stop your hair loss. It may cost you but I think If you have been lurking on the web for while you know what looks like a scam or not. And anyway if you are someday the victim of scams, you still can help others and warn the community on the web.  It's dreadfull that oftenly, at the moment  persons are diagnosed whith cancer they start realising how beautiful life is. Whatever happen, if  we can't help finding a cure to our problem, lest's at least put our hope in scientists and meawhile, let's have  a beatiful life, in peace with our mind and body.
